Originally I had planned on making my senior project
En Memorey
black and white
the biggest reason being
my lack of color experience
not that i didn’t know what worked or didn’t work
but
in creating a palate for the entire piece
i was not sure of

later in production however
i wanted to put color in the piece
the use of black and white was not being used as a visual device
but rather an excuse
so i went forward with color

i listen to a lot of brian eno and harold budd
and decided to take the ambient nature into my color theory

as well as from
CG textures dot com

i’ll release all my sources soon

i say it took me about an hour or so to have a rough makeup of textures,images and colors
and 2 more hours finalizing adding subtle ambient details

all in all
i love this process
i’m creating my own library of textures,colors and the like
which i will release into creative commons
